  1. How to book
    1. You can book your place on a course here by choosing a course and adding it to your cart.
  1. Booking confirmation
    1. Once we have processed your booking, we will send you a confirmation email with an electronic invoice. Your place is guaranteed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.
  1. Payment
    1. Payment must be made at point of purchase.
    2. Payment can be made via:
      1. Bank transfer (BACs) to Positive Psychology Learning Ltd. Contact us for details to make the bank transfer
      2. Paypal
      3. Purchase Order
    3. Submission of a booking form indicates the participant agrees to the terms and conditions set out and will be charged the appropriate course fee.
    4. Detailed joining instructions will be sent out prior to the course by email. Participants submitting late bookings (less than one week in advance) must contact us if no instructions are received within two working days of the course.
    5. Where a course is oversubscribed, places will be allocated according to the order in which bookings are received (i.e. in chronological order).
    6. We reserve the right to refuse the booking of a delegate.
    7. We reserve the right to re-allocate a course place to another delegate if fees are not paid in time and in accordance with any agreement made.
  1. Special requirements
    1. Positive Psychology Learning will make every effort to accommodate special requirements, which they have been notified of in advance at time of booking.
  1. Joining instructions
    1. Joining instructions including outline of the day, venue details, map and local hotel details will be issued via email prior to the course. If you have not received your joining instructions three days prior to the course, please contact us. Positive Psychology Learning will not be held responsible for non-receipt of joining instructions and refunds will not be issued under such circumstances.
  1. Rescheduling or cancellation of a course
    1. Where circumstances dictate, Positive Psychology Learning reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course or change the venue without prior notice.
    2. In the event of this happening, delegates will be informed as soon as possible and offered a place on an alternative Positive Psychology Learning course, should one be available, or a full refund.
    3. In the event of the postponement or cancellation of a course, we cannot be held responsible for non-refundable costs incurred such as travel and accommodation.
    4. It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the content and timing of a course, the tutors, the date or the venue.
    5. We are not able to offer refunds for cancellations outside of our control, including adverse weather conditions, flooding or industrial action.
    6. Unless stated otherwise, all the ‘Introduction to Positive Psychology’ courses listed for 2017, will be run by Positive Psychology Learning Directors and Buckinghamshire New University Associate Lecturers, Dan Collinson MAPP & Lesley Lyle MAPP.
  1. Pricing and invoicing
    1. The course fee is payable in pounds Sterling. Fees include course materials, lunch, morning coffee and afternoon tea.
    2. We reserve the right to change the cost of a course at any time, however, if a course has already been booked, the delegate will be charged the price quoted at the time of booking.
    3. If payment is made by Purchase Order, the terms are 14 days from the date of invoice.
  1. Cancellation and transfer of discounted places
    1. Once a booking has been made, any cancellation of a discounted place leaving an unfilled place (including non-attendance) will incur the full course charge and no refund will be given. In such an event our standard cancellation policy (9. Cancellation, transfer and failure to attend) does not apply.
    2. At our discretion, you may be able to transfer a place to a substitute delegate free of charge.
  1. Cancellation, transfer and failure to attend
    1. Once a booking has been made, any cancellation leaving an unfilled place (including non-attendance) will incur the full course charge. If another Positive Psychology Learning course is available, then you may be able to transfer at our discretion.
    2. Should you wish to transfer to another available Positive Psychology Learning course and give Positive Psychology Learning written notice more than one calendar month before you course is scheduled to commence, you will be able to do this free of charge. If, having transferred you subsequently do not attend, you will not be eligible for any refund.
    3. Should you wish to transfer to another Positive Psychology Learning course and give Positive Psychology Learning written notice less than one calendar month before your course is scheduled to commence, you will incur a charge of £50 + VAT per day to cover venue booking and admin costs. If, having transferred you subsequently do not attend, you will not be eligible for any refund.
    4. A delegate will only be able to transfer course once, after which, any further request to transfer course will be considered a cancellation
    5. At our discretion, you may be able to transfer a place to a substitute delegate free of charge.
  1. Copyright
    1. All handout materials developed by Positive Psychology Learning to delegates are protected by copyright. They may not be reproduced wholly or in part without Positive Psychology Learning’s prior consent.
  1. Responsibilities
    1. Delegates bringing along valuables and personal property do so at their own risk and are responsible for their safety. Positive Psychology Learning cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal items.
    2. All travel and accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of delegates. Positive Psychology Learning trainers cannot facilitate local transport or other arrangements.
    3. Delegates are expected to respect each other and keep sensitive information confidential. We reserve the right to request a delegate to leave if they disrupt the learning experience of others.
    4. Privacy policy – The details you provide will be held on our database and may be used to inform you of other courses and products and that we think may interest you. We will not pass your details onto any third parties without your permission.
    5. Upon your request you will be removed from our database.
